Explore other significant landmarks within the park, such as Bow Bridge, Wollman Rink, Gapstow Bridge, The Dairy, Sheep’s Meadow, and Cherry Hill, while taking in the picturesque Upper West Side skyline.

During the guided sightseeing tour through Central Park, you'll encounter the iconic stone Gapstow Bridge, famously featured in Home Alone 2. From this vantage point, you'll also enjoy a view of the renowned 19-story Plaza Hotel, a backdrop in numerous films including The Way We Were, Barefoot in the Park, Brewster’s Millions, It Could Happen To You, Big Business, Crocodile Dundee, Almost Famous, King of New York, and more.

Next, you'll head to the Wollman Skating Rink, one of two ice skating rinks in the park, known for its appearances in films like Serendipity, Home Alone 2, Stepmom, The January Man, and Love Story.

Stroll through the Mall, also called the Promenade, a popular spot for socializing and relaxation. This area has been featured in movies like Serendipity, Vanilla Sky, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Big Daddy, and Kramer vs. Kramer.

Following the Promenade, you'll reach Bethesda Terrace, home to the famous Bethesda Fountain. Here, scenes from films like Ransom, Godspell, Home Alone 2, Green Card, It Could Happen to You, Deconstructing Harry, Out of Towners, Prisoner of Second Avenue, and Stuart Little II were shot. This location also serves as the backdrop for the musical number, “That’s How You Know,” in Enchanted.

Take in the expansive 22-acre lake, Central Park’s largest body of water, ideal for row boating on warm days. The lake was featured in The Manchurian Candidate.

While there won’t be time to dine at the Boathouse Restaurant during the walking tour, you can always stop by afterward. This restaurant is showcased in films like When Harry Met Sally, Sex and the City, and Little Manhattan.

Continuing the tour at the mid-park point of 74th street, approaching the picturesque Bow Bridge. This cast-iron bridge has made appearances in Autumn in New York, Keeping the Faith, Little Manhattan, The Way We Were, and Woody Allen’s Manhattan. It stretches over the lake and leads to Cherry Hill, known for its beautiful cherry trees in springtime, featured in films like The Mirror has Two Faces, Big Daddy, Cruel Intentions, and Little Manhattan.

Next, explore the cultural landmark, the Bandshell, seen in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, I’m Not Rappaport, Mighty Aphrodite, and Hair. This location holds historical significance as a platform for speeches and performances by Martin Luther King and various musicians.

Continue on to Strawberry Fields, a tribute to John Lennon, located on the west side between 71st and 74th street. This area, featured in Little Manhattan, commemorates Lennon's life and music.

Finally, visit Sheep’s Meadow, a location featured in Wall Street, It Could Happen to You, The Fisher King, Antz, and Little Manhattan. Though sheep no longer inhabit the area, it remains a popular spot for relaxation, sunbathing, and frisbee games.

From here, catch a glimpse of The Dakota, famous for its appearances in Rosemary’s Baby and Vanilla Sky, and as the site of John Lennon’s tragic shooting. The tour culminates at Tavern on the Green, a renowned restaurant featured in Ghostbusters, New York Stories, Wall Street, Made, and The Out of Towners.

The tour concludes at Columbus Circle, known for its appearances in Taxi Driver, Keeping the Faith, Ghostbusters, Borat, Enchanted, and Crocodile Dundee. On Location Tours ensures an enriching experience for movie buffs and tourists alike, showcasing Central Park's most iconic film locations.
